TopJet Exec hails hearty 2023

The past year has seen good results in terms of flow hours and income for Milan-based Topjet Executive.

“We have seen an average of five hundred flown hours per charter,” says sales director Marco Dulitchi. “The majority of hours were flown between May and September, when we had the nice weather. And most of our destinations during this period were Nice, Ibiza, Olbia and, surprisingly, Naples. There were a lot of requests to this wonderful area.

“We did experience the usual airport congestion and a lack of parking and slots, which made our job more difficult. It always happens, but it seemed to be worse this year.”

The company added two new aircraft to its fleet, both for the charter market and based at Milan Linate airport. One is a new King Air 260 and the other a A109 Power Elite. It now has nine aircraft fully available for charter.

“The King Air 260 is a managed aircraft and will give us many opportunities to offer our clients short field operations to places like St Tropez, Isola d’Elba in Italy, Gstaad and others while the helicopter will give us entry into a new market. It will give us the chance to ‘catch and serve’ tourism towards the Lake Como and Tuscany areas. And we aim to bring our helicopter and jet charters together to give a more complete ‘in house’ client service,” continues Dulitchi.

TopJet also added new personnel to its operations control centre and sales teams, particularly in the helicopter sector.
